Some Great Enterprise
I apologize I haven’t written in this space for quite some time! I can explain.
Charles de Gaulle is quoted as saying, “France wouldn’t be true to herself unless she were engaged in some great enterprise.” My reason for taking up writing again is because I have decided to engage in a great enterprise. I am campaigning to be the next State Senator in my district of Southern Minnetonka and Eden Prairie in the great state of Minnesota.
America is a unique and great country. Perfect by no means, but a unique place where the opportunities are as vast as our Western plains. I want to take advantage of that opportunity, and be a public servant that works hard to improve government and the lives of the people I would represent.
So for now, I’ll place Life Worthy of Life on pause and direct my energy and focus on winning my campaign and serving the constituency. You can follow my campaign at www.marlaforminnesota.com.
Abortion is never on pause, of course. For that reason, I will be following what happens with abortion legislation here in the U.S. with cases like Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health and internationally. Both pursuits, serving in public office and defending unborn human life are very great enterprises indeed.
